BAKESFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- It's going to be warm end to the work week in Kern County. Above average temperatures will rise to 72 in the Valley floor today. Mountain communities will see sunny and breezy conditions Thursday with highs in the mid 60s and 45 mph wind gusts. Weather Wednesday: Mudslides Strong winds continue to be a problem for the Hughes Fire burning just south of the Grapevine. A Red Flag and High Wind warning remain in effect for Southern California until Friday.
