BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- At least one person is suffering from major injuries Thursday morning, after a two-vehicle collision in northwest Bakersfield, the California Highway Patrol said. Video from the scene shows the two-vehicle crash lead to a broken fire hydrant near the intersection of Olive and Knudsen Drives Wednesday around 11:30 p.m. ‘A fate worse than death’: 23 dogs allegedly abused, malnourished at California City animal rescue Water poured from the hydrant onto the roadway as emergency crews evaluated the people involved in the crash. At least one person suffered major injuries during the crash, but that person's current condition is unknown or the conditions of everyone else involved. This is a developing story.
