BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A Kern County man accused of sexually abusing multiple children was arrested in Chicago as he tried to board a flight to Mexico, according to sheriff's officials.
Bryan Munoz was arrested Jan. 16 and is awaiting extradition to Bakersfield to face seven counts related to the sexual abuse of minors -- including children 10 or younger, officials said. Bail was set at $3.3 million.

An investigation into Munoz, 36, began in November after detectives received reports of multiple juvenile victims.
"Munoz evaded law enforcement and fled Kern County during the initial investigation," officials said in a release.
