A two-vehicle accident late Wednesday night in Austin has sent two people to the hospital. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2014 Chevrolet Impala, driven by 34-year-old Markeith Spencer, was traveling southbound on Highway 218 while a 2015 Volvo S60, driven by Deborah Ann Deveza, 57, was traveling northbound on 14th Street NW when they collided at the intersection. The crash took place at around 11:20 p.m. and both were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin with non-life threatening injuries.  Mayo Clinic Ambulance and the Austin Police Department also responded.
