A person was fatally hit by a CTA Pink Line train Wednesday evening in west suburban Cicero, according to officials.It happened just before 6 p.m. in the 5100 block of West 21st Place near the Cicero station, according to the town of Cicero and Cook County medical examiner's office. The victim, only described as male, was pronounced dead at 8:01 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office. An autopsy is scheduled. Pink Line service resumed around 8:30 p.m. after a "medical emergency delays" on the tracks near the Cicero station, CTA said in a statement.No other information was immediately available.
