FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing and endangered juvenile. According to the sheriff's office, 11-year-old Cayden Alexander Townsend was reported missing Wednesday. He was taken by his father, 31-year-old Reginald Townsend, the agency said. Deputies describe Cayden Townsend as standing 5'4" and weighing 110 lbs. with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen in a Silver Nissan Rogue with the North Carolina registration FFL-7367. Cayden Alexander Townsend (Cumberland County Sheriff's Office) Reginald Townsend is described as standing 5'6" and weighing 200 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen driving the Silver Nissan Rogue from Cypress Lakes Road. The vehicle has been reported as stolen, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies said Reginald Townsend has outstanding warrants for probation violation and larceny. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who sees Townsend or the vehicle he is driving is asked to call 911 immediately.
