Albion, Ind. (WANE) -- Black Pine Animal Sanctuary is bringing back its popular Cricket Karma fundraiser this Valentine's Day. For a $5 donation, you can name a cricket after anyone - maybe an ex, or a former boss. Then on Valentine's Day, Black Pine staff will feed the cricket to one of their animal residents and let you watch. Higher donations will get you more crickets. For $50, you can name up to 20 and be entered to win a family pass for Black Pine's 2025 season, which opens on May 2nd. Information on how to donate can be found here. Last year's Cricket Karma event raised almost $3,000 for the sanctuary.
