(KRON) -- Dave & Buster's is opening its first location in the North Bay. The arcade and sports bar is planning to open at the Santa Rosa Plaza by the end of the year. Dave & Buster's is expected to open on Dec. 31, according to the mall's website. The Texas-based entertainment venue will be located on the lower level near the A Street entrance -- taking over the former space of Forever 21. According to a Santa Rosa Plaza spokesperson, the Forever 21 occupied that space for 10 years. Prior to that, it was Mervyn's. The Forever 21 has been reportedly closed since 2023. World-renowned Pacifica Taco Bell reopens after temporary closure “We’re thrilled to bring the energy and excitement of Dave & Buster’s to the Santa Rosa community. Our guests are always seeking unique experiences, and Dave & Buster’s allows us to meet that demand. Whether you’re looking for a fun night, a memorable birthday, or a place to relax after a day of shopping, Santa Rosa Plaza now offers something for everyone.” Jackie Gonzalez, Santa Rosa Plaza Director of Marketing & Business Development Facade of Dave and Buster's entertainment venue in Concord, California, October 31, 2021. There are more than 170 locations in North America. Another major chain is set to open in Santa Rosa Plaza this year. Asian-American restaurant chain P.F. Chang's will open in late fall or early winter, KRON4 reported last October. The eatery will be located on the side of the intersection of B Street and 4th Street -- next to Grill Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa Plaza is an indoor mall that consists of more than 100 stores and establishments across more than 692,000 square feet.
