TOPEKA (KSNT) - In just two days, hockey will return to the ice in the capital city. On Wednesday, Jan. 22, 27 News got an inside look at the events inside Landon Arena. It was media day for the Baton Rouge Zydecos at Stormont Vail Event Center. People got to meet the players, coaches and all those involved in getting hockey games in Topeka. 27 News spoke with General Manager of the events center, Kellen Seitz, on what you can expect from the upcoming games. "You saw some of it today, right. It's exciting. Hard hitting action," Seitz said. "Pro hockey in the marketplace is going to be awesome for everybody in the community. You know, the checking, the fights, the entertainment, the peer competitiveness of the players on the ice. It's something we're really excited for."  The team was also on the ice with Woolley Farms teaching all the ways of the ice and with some rides.  For more local news, click here.
