ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Wednesday night Albuquerque city councilors agreed to ask the state to fund an outdoor playscape at the Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. Councilors are asking for $4 million. UNMH receiving national recognition for maternity care unit It's a project the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum has been eyeing for years and that dream could soon become reality. The balloon museum's manager told KRQE News 13 last month that they want to build it behind the museum, facing Balloon Fiesta Park, on a half-acre plot of land. The playscape would include a balloon tower, amphitheater, and swings attached to model clouds. The motion passed on an 8-1 vote.
