1 hurt, family displaced after mobile home fire in Organ, NM

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - One person was injured, and a family was displaced after a mobile home fire that happened on Wednesday, Jan. 22 in Organ, New Mexico, the Doña Ana County said in a news release.
The Doña Ana County Fire Rescue crews responded to a residential structure fire at 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 22, at the 7500 block of Shoestring Ranch Road, the County said.
Crews successfully contained and extinguished the fire, the County said.
The County said one occupant sustained a severe burn but declined any medical treatment.
In addition, the displaced family initially declined assistance from the local American Red Cross, and after further consideration, the displaced family accepted the help, the County added.
The county said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
