(KRON) -- Firefighters in San Jose responded to a three-alarm fire at an apartment complex Wednesday afternoon, according to the San Jose Fire Department. The two-story apartment complex is located on the 2400 block of Los Gatos-Almaden Road. Nearly half of remote workers say they’d quit before returning to office full-time The fire was on the building's second floor. The building was evacuated, and traffic in the area was impacted between Redstone Drive and Verde Court. The apartment complex was comprised of three separate buildings, two of which were impacted. The fire rendered five units in one building uninhabitable and damaged two units in a second building. An unknown number of people were displaced. There were no reports of injuries, although one cat was injured, police said.
