Paige Marrone was just what the St. Gregory’s Blue team needed when it faced Stuart in the Mercer County CYO League Girl’s Varsity Division. Marrone lit up the scoreboard for 16 points as the Blue team claimed a 24-16 win over the Tartans. St. Raphael’s got past St. Paul’s 26-9 as Addy Dziubak scored nine points. Larry Leads St. Raphael’s To a Pair of Wins Mia Larry tallied 19 points as the Saints took a 33-14 win over St. Paul’s Gold in the Girl’s Junior Varsity Division. Larry was on target with a game high 11 points when St. Raphael’s faced St. Paul’s White. Larry’s effort led to a 23-4 win for the Saints. Martey Leads St. Gregory’s Blue in Girls Freshman St. Gregory’s Blue used 14 points from Amiee Martey in a 20-0 win over St. Raphael’s Casey O’Neill poured in eight points to pace Our Lady of Sorrows to a 25-4 win over St. Paul’s. Girard Sparks St.  Raphael’s Wins in Boy’s Junior Varsity Marco Girard netted nine points as St. Raphael’s took a 35-14 decision over St. Paul’s. Shanklin Has Big Game Brandon Shanklin had 14 points for St. Gregory’s White in a 29-13 win over St. Paul’s in the Boy’s Freshman Division. It was a battle of the St. Raphael’s Gold and Blue and it was the Gold coming out on top with a 24-13 win as Nicky Cowell caged 10 points.
