Deer Valley Resort will offer a new cat skiing adventure starting in February to give skiers access to explore the resort’s new, untouched terrain. “Deer Valley Cat Skiing will provide a sneak peek into Deer Valley’s next chapter, and we invite our loyal guests to witness it firsthand,” said Deer Valley President and COO Todd Bennett. “Our talented culinary teams, ski hosts and guest services staff will be there at every turn, ensuring this unique snowcat skiing experience is seamless and unforgettable.” Guests have the option to reserve the entire snow cat operation for a private, personalized party or book individual spots on a shared tour. The private group option is available for $20,000 and accommodates up to 12 guests. The per-seat option is available for $2,000 and is for individuals or smaller groups looking to share a joined tour.  The day begins at 8 a.m. in the 2002 Room at Deer Valley’s Snow Park Lodge with breakfast by Deer Valley Etc. Afterward, the group will head to the Silver Lake Express lift to ski a quick warm-up run on Bald Mountain. Then, the group will ascend to the top of Bald Mountain and skis off the backside into Park Peak Meadow. At the bottom of this run, a Deer Valley snowcat will take guests up. A second snowcat will be stationed at the bottom of each run, too, and they’ll be equipped with coolers stocked with refreshements.More information is available at deervalley.com/things-to-do/activities/deer-valley-cat-skiing. The post Deer Valley Cat Skiing gives private access to new terrain appeared first on Park Record.
