HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County Public Schools (HCPS) recently announced that the 2025 HCPS Career and Technical Education Career Rodeo Skills Challenge has been postponed. The event, originally scheduled to be held on Wednesday, has now been scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 23 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Richmond Raceway due to road conditions which closed schools in the county on Wednesday, according to HCPS. Students are encouraged to display their skills at the event for potential employers, aiming to help them get a head start on career opportunities. It is also a chance for them to demonstrate the skills they have learned through HCPS career and technical education programs. For more information, click here.
