TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said that the teenager who was seriously injured in a motorbike crash on Jan. 21 has died. The crash occurred at the intersection of Somerset Avenue and Silverwood Drive and was caught on a home surveillance camera. The footage showed the boy driving his motorbike into an oncoming sedan. Taunton police said the boy was taken to the hospital with serious injuries at the time and added that a 17-year-old girl driving the car was not hurt. A neighbor who spoke with ABC6 said crashes are frequent in the area and shared video of several recent incidents. “They’re speeding from both directions, it doesn’t matter,” Carlos Vieira said. “Someone came all the way down the other side and hit the garage.” Categories: Massachusetts, News
