CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — The Central Falls Police Department said that its dispatch office will be closed for essential repairs and no in-person services will be available. The department said that dispatchers have been moved into the building for the repairs, but the lobby will remain open and there will be a phone available to communicate with a dispatcher or to arrange for a police officer to meet in the lobby. “Please be advised that due to ongoing construction and potential hazards, access to the building will be restricted during this period,” the department said.
