TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — A 14-year-old Taunton boy has died after he was involved in a crash while riding a dirt bike Tuesday afternoon, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office. The crash occurred around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Somerset Avenue and Silverwood Drive. Police said the teen was riding a Kayo mini-motorcycle when he and an oncoming car collided near the intersection. He was rushed to Morton Hospital with serious injuries but died later that night. The investigation is ongoing, and it’s unclear whether the driver will face charges.
