Boil water advisory issued for parts of Grand Isle

GRAND ISLE, La. (WGNO) — Parts of Grand Isle are under a boil water advisory on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Jefferson Parish officials said the advisory comes after "multiple broken water lines" created a loss of pressure.

Parish officials said the advisory will impact the Cheniere side of Grand Isle to Rosethorn Lane and remain in effect until further notice.
Residents are advised to boil their water for one minute before making ice, brushing their teeth, washing dishes and preparing food until the advisory has been lifted.
