(LOS ANGELES/COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) crew in Los Angeles is still working hard to assist people affected by the fires in California as of Wednesday, Jan. 22. Recently, they took a day off and spent some time at the beach to unwind. While there, they saw pieces of homes that had burned during the fire and washed up on the shore, serving as a sad reminder of the devastation. On Jan. 12, CSFD deployed to California to help with several fires and were assigned to Zuma Beach in Malibu for an initial attack on the fires.
