BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) -- The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is responding to a crash on I-26 eastbound near mile marker 191 Wednesday afternoon. Deputies said Highway Patrol was inovled in the collision and all eastbound lanes are currently closed. According to the sheriff, a car in front of the trooper's vehicle spun on ice and the trooper put their lights on to help. Shortly after, a truck with a trailer hit the back of the trooper's vehicle. The sheriff said the trooper sustained minor injuries in the crash. There was no word on the condition of the other drivers. Drivers are advised to stay off the roads due to icy conditions.
