Grocery stores, restaurants open around Baton Rouge after snowy weather

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — After a rare snowfall blanketed Baton Rouge and surrounding areas, several businesses are beginning to reopen as conditions slowly improve.
Local restaurants and grocery stores are gradually resuming normal hours, but residents are encouraged to check social media pages for updated schedules.
State and local leaders still want people to stay off the roads after the snowfall. Some roads are closed. Click here to see the latest closures.

Restaurants
Zippy's Burrito's (3155 Perkins Road in Baton Rouge) opened at 11 a.m.
Chow Yum (2363 Hollydale Ave in Baton Rouge) opened at noon.
Zee Zee's Kitchen and Cocktails (2943 Perkins Road in Baton Rouge) is open with a limited menu from 3 p.m. Wednesday to 2 a.m. Thursday.
Stroubes Seafood & Steak (107 3rd Street in Baton Rouge) is accepting reservations.
Capital City Grill (100 Lafayette Street in Baton Rouge) will reopen at 4 p.m.
TJ Ribs (2324 S Acadian Thruway in Baton Rouge) will reopen at 4 p.m. depending on weather conditions.
