HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – A New Mexico man accused in multiple burglaries has been arrested. Hobbs police say on January 14 they received a tip about the location of 34-year-old Roman Astorga, who had multiple active warrants.

Those warrants included one count of aggravated burglary, 14 counts of burglary, 13 counts of tampering with evidence and three counts of failure to appear. Officers responded to the intersection of West Snyder North Leech St., where Astorga was arrested and taken to the Hobbs Detention Center. Police say Astorga has a lengthy criminal history.
