Dine 909: Inland Empire Brewers Guild hosting wildfire fundraiser
Jan 22, 2025
The Inland Empire Brewers Guild is hosting a fundraiser to support Los Angeles County and Inland Empire breweries affected by the recent wildfires and windstorms.
The wildfires have damaged or destroyed thousands of homes and businesses in Los Angeles County, and the strong winds have led to public safety power shutoffs that left thousands across Southern California without power for days.
The Brewery Relief Beer Fest will take place from noon-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Escape Craft Brewery’s Barrelhouse, 721 Nevada St., Unit 401, Redlands.
The event will feature unlimited beer samples plus live music.
Food will be available from Ember Woodfired Pizza and TM Tacos.
Participating Inland Empire breweries (aside from Escape) include Metabolic Brewing Co., Hangar 24 Craft Brewing, Pro-Five Brewing Company, Carbon Nation Brewing, Smudgepot Brewing Company, Route 30 Brewing Company and Main Street Brewery.
Tickets — available via Eventbrite — are $60 (plus a $5.87 service fee).
Drink a 22-year-old beer
Mt. Baldy Brewery — formerly Last Name Brewing — will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of its flagship beer, Pomona Queen, on Saturday, Jan. 25.
The Tribute to the Queen will feature a trio of musical performances: Mykele Hill with Krishna, Jonny Come Lately and D’Santi with Geoff Gurrola.
Mt. Baldy Brewery is at 2120 Porterfield Way, Upland. Saturday hours are noon-10 p.m.
