Warwick Police accepting donations for LAPD Officers Impacted by wildfires

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – The Warwick Police Department is fundraising to support Los Angeles Police Officers impacted by the recent wildfires.
Warwick Police have been in contact with LAPD Headquarters in Los Angeles. LAPD says more than 20 active officers have lost their homes and all their belongings due to the wildfires.
Warwick Police will be collecting gift cards from local retailers and online platforms starting now through February 10th. The public is encouraged to drop-off or mail donations to the Warwick Police Department.
A member of the Warwick Police Department will hand-deliver the donated gift cards to LAPD Officers in February.
If you would like to donate you can drop-off your donation at the Warwick Police Department located at 99 Veterans Memorial Drive in Warwick, or you can mail donations to the following:
