ACUSHNET, Mass. (WLNE) — Acushnet police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Tuesday on Slocum Street. The afternoon incident resulted in a minor injury and police have determined that it was not a random act, according to the Acushnet Police Department. Several spent shell casings were found at the scene and the person injured received a graze wound. The victim was an occupant of the building at which the shooting occurred.
