CharterCARE requiring masks at its medical centers
Jan 22, 2025
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Masks are now required at all CharterCARE health centers.
The hospital group says the new mandate is due to "rising community respiratory virus rates and an increase in hospital admissions due to respiratory infections."
Upon arrival at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital and Roger Williams Medical Center, masks will be available for all patients, visitors, and staff.
"The requirement to mask is intended to keep everyone safe and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation," the hospital group said.
Brown University Health, formerly Lifespan, also reinstated its mask policy.
