New Orleans Pelicans game postponed following winter storm

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Pelicans game scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 22, was postponed after winter weather swept across Southeast Louisiana on Tuesday.
According to the National Basketball Association, the Pelicans were set to take on the Milwaukee Bucks at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans at 7 p.m.

On Tuesday, Jan. 21, New Orleans received a record amount of snowfall with 10 inches of snow reported in some areas of the city.
Crews are currently working to clear snow and ice from the roads.
NBA officials said the game will be rescheduled to a later date.
