Deadline extended to apply for disaster recovery loans for Helene damage in SC

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The U.S. Small Business Administration says those who suffered tremendous damages from Hurricane Helene in South Carolina, now have more time to apply for help.
The physical disaster loan application deadline has been extended to Tuesday, January 28.
Tyler spoke with Antwan Harris, Public Affairs Specialist, about how these loans are able to help those still picking up the pieces from Helene.
He says businesses and non-profits are eligible for up to $2 Million (more if you are a major employer).
One business recovery center you can go to is at the Lexington County Library, 5440 Augusta Rd.
