MONROE, NC – A man is in critical condition after a driver hit him and kept going in Monroe. A police officer found the man in the median of W. Roosevelt Boulevard around 7:30 Wednesday morning. Paramedics took the man to a Charlotte area hospital. There is no information about the car or the driver. Investigators are asking anyone who may know anything about this hit-and-run to call Monroe Police at 704-282-4700.
