(KRON) -- Several people lost their homes after an apartment building caught fire in Campbell on Tuesday, the Santa Clara County Fire Department said. Six units were affected by the blaze, and four were destroyed.
The fire happened at a two-story apartment on the 300 block of Union Avenue. Crews responded at 6:37 p.m.
Three people were rescued, and one was hospitalized. The Red Cross is helping those who lost their homes.

Union Avenue was closed between Apricot Avenue and East McGincy Lane as crews battled the fire. It is expected to reopen around midnight
No cause of the fire has been announced.
