Man arrested for trying to influence a public servant

(PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo.) — A man has been arrested in northeast Colorado on a Pueblo County warrant for attempting to influence a public servant and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (PCSO), 65-year-old Kurt Welsh was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 21 in Sterling, about 27 miles form the northern Colorado border with Nebraska. Welsh was arrested on a warrant out of Pueblo County for seven counts of attempting to influence a public servant and for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

PCSO said the arrest was the result of 18 months worth of investigation by PCSO detectives. Welsh is being held in Logan County awaiting transfer to Pueblo County.
