Jan 21, 2025
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Life Network a non-profit founded in 1983 announced on Tuesday, Jan. 21 that it will open its newest Life Network Family Thrift Store on Friday, Jan. 24.
Life Network's goal is to empower families with free pregnancy care, parenting education, and counseling. The non-profit operates four pregnancy centers staffed by nurses and trained staff, providing free medical-grade pregnancy tests and ultrasounds.
The new thrift store will be located at 7177 Meridian Road near East Woodmen Road in Falcon--the store will carry gently used and like-new clothing and other items for women, men, and children, along with housewares, electronics, furniture, and more. The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
“With the east side of our city growing rapidly, I know Falcon-area residents have eagerly awaited this new thrift store,” said Rich Bennett, president of Life Network. “Thanks to our community’s generosity, our Academy and Montebello location has become a favorite of area ‘thrifters’ – and we’re excited to bring the same great prices on quality, gently used items to Falcon.”
The new thrift store is the non-profit's second location, its first location opened in 2019 and is located at 5406 North Academy Boulevard. Proceeds from the thrift stores go to support Life Network's mission.
