CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a homicide in west Charlotte. Police were called to the scene in the 5700 block of Leake Street around 10:15pm Tuesday. When WCCB arrived on scene at the Little Rock Apartments, we saw approximately 10 police vehicles. Crime scene tape had not yet been put up, and an ambulance started to pull away from the scene, but then stopped. CMPD says they’ll release more information as it develops.
