2 arrested after pursuit ends in crash outside Arvin

ARVIN, Calif. (KGET) -- Two men were arrested after a police pursuit ended near Arvin on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
The pursuit ended when a driver crashed the vehicle into a dirt mound at Malaga and Panama roads at around 4 p.m., Arvin Police Chief Alex Ghazalpour told 17 News.
Ghazalpour said officers were searching for a suspect wanted for a felony and located a suspect vehicle on Towerline Road. The driver and one other person inside fled and led officers on a short pursuit.

Officials did not confirm what the two men were wanted for prompting the stop.
The two men inside were taken into custody.
