ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Windows were broken and boarded up and chairs were on the ice in the riverway Tuesday. Crews from News 8 found significant damage to the windows on the side of the old Riverside Hotel building, and chairs were seen scattered throughout the riverway. RPD has indicated that this is not being investigated as a criminal matter. According to Captain Greg Bello with RPD, the reason is because there wasn't a police report filed by the owner of the property or claims of any property damage.
