MAYETTA (KSNT) - Comedian George Lopez will visit northeast Kansas this spring for a show at a local casino. Prairie Band Casino & Resort announced on social media that Lopez is set to perform live at Prairie Band Casino & Resort at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 24 in a show for people who are 18-years-old or older. Tickets are set to go on sale at noon on Friday, Jan. 24, according to Lopez's website. He last visited the casino for a show in May 2022. Lopez has a long career filled with appearances in movies and TV shows along with years spent doing stand-up comedy acts. He has played characters in movies like "Blue Beetle," "Rio," and "Beverly Hills Chihuahua," according to IMDB. Lopez has been nominated twice for Emmy awards and was named the winner of the "Outstanding Art Direction For A Multi-Camera Series" in 2005. He also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in California.
