Rio Rancho police arrest man wanted for shooting in Farmington

FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – Rio Rancho Police arrested a man who was wanted for a shooting in Farmington.
Farmington Police identified Talele Mika, 45, as the suspect in a shooting at the Encore Hotel on Jan. 13. Police found bullet holes in one of the hotel rooms, and witnesses reported seeing a male suspect with a rifle near a vehicle outside the room before shots were fired.

Mika was taken into custody on the following charges: shooting at a dwelling or occupied building, shooting at or from a motor vehicle, two counts of aggravated assault, and felon in possession of a firearm.
