Minor snow at the coast tonight, one more frigid day for Wednesday
Jan 21, 2025
Another frigid night is on the way! Temperatures will fall into the single digits by Wednesday morning with subzero wind chills! This is dangerous cold, so please bundle up if you have to head out.
Even with temperatures below freezing during the day, the sun will cause some snow melt which will then turn to ice at night.
Outside of some clouds and even a flurry off to the south on Thursday, quiet weather is expected through the end of the week, and temps will moderate back towards the freezing mark as well.
Meanwhile, a historic winter storm is ongoing down in the Gulf states. Plowable snow has fallen from Houston to New Orleans, and is now moving into the panhandle of Florida.
Parts of Georgia and the Coastal Carolinas will see snow into tomorrow morning as well. This is possible because of how far south our Arctic blast has reached!
