PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Brown University Health is reinstating their mask requirements starting Wednesday. Brown University Health says due to high community transmission rates of respiratory viruses they will reinstate masking requirements to protect patients, staff, and visitors. Level 2 surgical masks will be required for patients, visitors and staff during patient care. Masks will be given to visitors upon arrival to the hospital or clinic. The masking requirements are only Rhode Island hospital and clinic locations. Massachusetts locations will continue to follow Massachusetts Department of Health and local guidelines. Categories: News
