Arctic air continues but relief on the way
Jan 21, 2025
It's been a brutally cold day with temps steady in the single digits and wind chills in the negative teens. Wind chills have remained below 0° for over 50 hours and will continue to stay that way until tomorrow.
This will once again continue into the evening hours and overnight hours. Clear skies will lead the way to lows falling below 0° and that is how we kick off our Wednesday.
Wednesday morning will once again be brutally cold with temps near 0° and wind chills ranging from -15° to -20°. However, this will not be an all-day event as temps will climb to the lower 20's in the afternoon with windchill finally climbing above 0°.
The SLIGHT warm-up will carry over to Thursday as highs near 30° with a few flurries possible. It will feel tropical as temps climb to the upper 30's over the weekend with partly sunny skies. As we round off the month of January into February, temps look to tack slightly above average.
