GREENSBORO, N.C. — A water main break in Greensboro has shut down two lanes of West Gate City Boulevard.
On Tuesday, the City of Greensboro announced that there was an eight-inch water main break on the 3200 block of West Gate City Boulevard, affecting about 10 customers. Anyone in the area seeing "discoloration or cloudy water coming from your tap" after the repairs are asked to "run cold water for a few minutes through a faucet without an aerator, such as an outside spigot or the bathtub, until clear."
While crews work on repairs, two eastbound lanes are closed. The city expects crews to be working until about 8 p.m.
