The Latest from Storm Team 5... Today was the coldest days we have had since 2019, with high temperatures holding in the single digits below zero. In a matter of fact, the last day with temperatures in the single digits below zero was January 31st, 2019. We did see the 'Extreme Cold Warning' be let to expire at noon today, but a 'Cold Weather Advisory' replaced that and remains in effect until midnight. Wind chills will stay around 20 degrees below zero until that point. Tonight plan on increasing clouds with low temperatures in the single digits below zero this evening. A warm front will also be moving through the region, which could bring with it a few light snow showers or flurries late tonight. Both the front and clouds will help bring temperatures up overnight, into the positive single digits with wind chills -10 to -15. Tomorrow, cloudy skies, with high temperatures around 20. The cold front moves through during the evening, and along this front holds the chance of a few more light snow showers or flurries. Overall snow accumulations under 1". Mostly sunny skies both Thursday and Friday with high temperatures around 20 degrees. Another weak system moves through on Saturday, could be enough for a few flurries.
