Lexington County man arrested on child sexual abuse material charges

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Jake Brady Ergle, age 38, of Batesburg-Leesville on one charge connected to the sexual exploitation of minors.
Ergle was arrested on January 15, and charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree (§16-15-410).
Investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which led them to Ergle, according to officials.
Additionally, investigators states Ergle possessed files of child sexual abuse material.
