COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority (The COMET) is adjusting its transit service due to the Winter Weather Warning/Advisory issued by the National Weather Service, said officials.
Service adjustments:
Due to the potential inclement weather and road conditions later this afternoon, service will be stopped starting at 4 p.m. Tuesday as the routes perform their last trip.
Regular service will be delayed Wednesday morning Jan. 22 until approximately 10 a.m. depending on road conditions.
The last outbound trips will depart the COMET Central hub downtown at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21.
