ALBANY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- Governor Kathy Hochul is getting closer to some sort of cell phone ban in schools, as it's expected to be included in her upcoming budget address to be delivered Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 21.
The governor's office confirms to that $13.5 million in state funding will be allocated to support the ban.
