Free tickets available to see Ben Stein at WSU

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- A man known as much for being an entertainer as for his financial wisdom will speak at Wichita State University in March. Ben Stein will be part of WSU's 2025 Barton Speaker Series.
Community members can get free tickets to the March 11 event. It will be at 6 p.m. at Miller Concert Hall, Duerksen Fine Arts Center. Click here to learn more and to reserve free tickets.
Stein is a writer, lawyer, actor, comedian and commentator on political and economic issues.
Fans of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" will remember him as the monotone teacher doing roll call and asking, "Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?" Stein has appeared in 80 movies and television shows, including playing a Wichita airport representative in another John Hughes movie, “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.”

He had an award-winning game show on Comedy Central called “Win Ben Stein’s Money.” Together with his colleague, Jimmy Kimmel, he created almost 1,000 episodes.
On the financial side, Stein was an economics columnist for The New York Times and has been a regular columnist and commentator for Fox and CNN. He has also written dozens of books, most about finance.
