New Puerto Rican restaurant set to open in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A new restaurant will be opening its doors in Springfield on Tuesday.

El Cafetín will be hosting a grand opening ceremony on Tuesday at their location at 276 Cottage Street. This new restaurant will being authentic Puerto Rican flavors to Springfield and promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant will be serving traditional dishes that'll showcase Puerto Rico's rich culinary heritage. Carmen Howland, the chef at El Cafetín, has years of experience and dedication to quality.

State Representative Carlos González, State Representative Orlando Ramos, members of the Western Massachusetts delegation, and other community leaders, will be at the grand opening, which is set to take place at 10:00 a.m.
