MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Four homes were caught on fire overnight and early Tuesday morning in the North Memphis, South Memphis, Frayser, and Binghampton area. WREG crews arrived at the first home fire overnight in the 2300 block of Staten Avenue. An abandoned home was burned. Firefighters say it was an accidental warming fire that started in the middle hallway and floor. There was $10,000 worth of damage caused to the home. No injuries were reported. Firemen say the cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time. No injuries were reported, but the Red Cross helped assist the family members involved in the fire. (Photo by: WREG's Quintin Bearkley) The third fire was reported in the 3000 block of Thomas Street a little after 3 a.m. WREG crew at the scene captured firemen putting out an active house fire. Firefighters say it was an accidental electrical fire that damaged the home. (Photo by: WREG's Quintin Bearkley) One person was treated at the scene for a medical issue. No other injuries were reported. Firefighters say the fourth house fire took place in the 100 block of North Hollywood Street. They say the fire was started by arson and caused $25,000 in damages. No injuries were reported in this incident.
