NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- It's a nice day to... tour again. Rock legend Billy Idol is hitting the road this summer but he won't be dancing with himself. Joining the rock idol is another legend of the electric guitar, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. Hoosiers, get ready to scream "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" as the iconic team-up touches down at Ruoff Music Center on Aug. 30, 2025, as part of the Coors Light Concert Series. AP Photos To announce the upcoming tour, Idol starred in a short video featuring his iconic catalog of hits. He wasn't alone as comedian Matt Rife, guitar player Steve Stevens and the "Queen of Rock n Roll" herself, Joan Jett, make appearances in the fun announcement video. Billy Idol has been a definitive face and voice of the rock scene for 46 years, going from frontman of Generation X to a solo career defined by hits such as "White Wedding." Joan Jett is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee who blazed a trail for women in rock 'n roll. She has had eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles, including the classics “Bad Reputation."
